What is a weekly raffle?

At OurSong, we're all about the good vibes and appreciating the creator community.

To kick start our Shout & Heat Program, we want to reward the true 'Givers' on OurSong with some dope NFTs for all their appreciation. To get, you gotta give. Give some Shouts, get some Heat to collect some dope NFTs. 

Starting on 7 November 2022, we're dropping some limited edition NFTs to the FIVE lucky OurSong users every other week.

OurSong will calculate users’ “Heats” on a weekly basis, and the prize pool will be different weekly.

The higher “Heats” you achieved that week, the higher your chance of winning is.

Users will have to use the “Wallet Connect” feature to link their OurSong account with their Ethereum wallet in order to be part of the weekly raffle.

If users failed to link their wallets before the raffle, they lost the chance of being part of the weekly raffle.

 

How does it work? 

  1. Suppose "N" refers to the total Heat number allocated to all OurSong users accumulated in the period of time (a week). And "M" refers to the Heat number you allocated in that week. You're probability to be drawn as a winner is likely to be M/N. 

    • E.g. Total number of OurSong users have accumulated 10,000 Heat for that week, and you have a Heat score of 100. Then you have 100 chances of winning the weekly NFT giveaway ( = 100 / 10,000 = 1% on each draw.) 

  2. OurSong will randomly draw 5 lucky winners from the raffle pool on a weekly basis.

  3. Make sure to use the "Wallet Connect" feature and connect your Ethereum crypto wallet address (starting with 0x) to your OurSong account and complete phone verification. Users who fail to complete these will be disqualified from the lucky draw.

 

How do I participate/enroll in the Program?

All users on OurSong will automatically be eligible for Shouts & Heats. In order to be eligible for the Raffle program, you must have at least one Heat to participate in the raffle. Update your app with version 5.0.11 and above so that you see the Shouts icon and the Heat icon on your profile page. New Users will need to complete the phone verification to be eligible. 

In order to follow the Raffle and participate, please sign into our Discord channel. 

 

What if I win the weekly raffle?

If you win the raffle, we will airdrop the prize to your connected wallet. 

 

How does the weekly raffle works?

Lucky Draw Process

Step 1. OurSong Admin will randomly draw a lucky user from the raffle pool

Step 2. If the user ID has already been drawn, then we will simply draw another. If the user ID has not yet been drawn, this user is one of the winners.

Step 3. OurSong will keep drawing until 5 unique user IDs have been drawn.

Step 4. The first user ID being drawn is the 1st place winner, the second user ID being drawn is the 2nd place winner…etc.
